About Channel Islands

The Channel Islands comprise a number of Islands only eight of which are inhabited. The largest two are Jersey and Guernsey which have a distinctive charm of their own. Guernsey has a varied coastline with many beautiful and secluded inlets and bays. The capital is St Peter Port which has all the shopping facilities and entertainment expected of a capital. Jersey hosts the popular Battle of the Flowers which is a carnival that has been held annually since 1902.
