Lacock

The beautiful village of Lacock has pretty timber-framed Tudor buildings, narrow medieval streets and is looked after by the National Trust.
Often referred to as one of the prettiest villages in England, Lacock has been used as a filming location in various period dramas.
Lacock Abbey is a medieval cloistered abbey that was converted into a fine country house. The abbey features recently restored botanic gardens and a museum dedicated to William Talbot who was a pioneer of photography.
