At 1861 Restaurant with Rooms , Simon creates the menus daily with the best seasonal produce from Kate's dads garden, local farms and the family's foraging trips. The sample menus below show dishes often served throughout the year. Each day we have a set lunch or dinner menu alongside an a la carte menu as well as a  5 or 7 course tasting menu (by pre-booking only). Sunday lunch also always includes two roasts – one is always a traditional roast beef. Guests are welcome to follow any of the menus or indeed mix and match to your own tastes. Simon will also prepare bespoke menus for any special dietary requirements with a minimum of 48 hours notice, please let us know when making a reservation.
