The Cotswolds offer a range of routes and pathways to be explored. Below are a few suggestions, graded according to the length of the walk. Long Distance (100 miles+) Three Choirs Way (100 miles) The route passes between Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester and has a musical and poetic theme to link the walk with the famous Three Choirs Festival. The Cotswold Way (103 miles) Starting close to Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and finishing near to Jane Austen’s Bath, The Cotswold Way is one of the most popular walks in the area. It is typically divided into 7 sections.
The Shakespeare’s Way Walk (146 miles) A walk which spans Stratford-upon-Avon and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. Along the way it also includes Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxford, Kew and Westminster. Gloucestershire Way (100 miles) This walk includes the Forest of Dean, the Severn Valley and the Cotswolds. |
