Overlooking the Great Hall you'll find the intimate and sophisticatedly romantic MICHELIN Star Restaurant Àclèaf; a space to gather around the table and taste exquisite menus created by Head Chef Scott Paton.

Meaning oak leaf in Old English, is Boringdon Hall Hotel & Spa's MICHELIN Star & 4 AA Rosette restaurant, run by Head Chef, Scott Paton. Promising guests an unforgettable gastronomic journey, Paton and team offer a four-course menu, with visually striking dishes that celebrate the highest-quality, seasonal ingredients, all sourced locally.

Designed by Gayle Nettleton, the Àclèaf dining space takes inspiration from the grandeur and history of the property's main house, and connects it to the oak trees, open lawns and nearby Dartmoor tors. Statement lighting creates intimacy throughout the space, and large leather chairs allow guests to ease into the dining experience.

Àclèaf is open Monday to Sunday for dinner, offering a four-course Table d’hôte Menu with vegan and vegetarian menus available, we would recommend including a paired wine flight.

At the heart of Boringdon Hall, the Great Hall is a grand yet welcoming space where afternoon teas, aperitifs and light lunches can be enjoyed in front of a roaring log fire. In the summer, the Great Hall comes alive as light streams in through the magnificent leadwork windows.

The Hall is adorned with tapestries, ornate carvings and oak panelling, which create distinctive and unforgettable interiors. The focal point is the great mantle above the fireplace which depicts the coat of arms of King James I. Bearing the date 1640, it is exquisitely ornamented with the figures Peace and Plenty.

A range of Afternoon Teas are available from Traditional and divine to Champagne.
