It has been voted Devon's top beauty spot and one of WWF's amazing family days out - with the breathtaking waterfalls and baby meerkats it is definitely worth a visit.
The Rock Gardens, Caves and Nursery are set in the old Palace Quarry where the parkland has been landscaped by Capability Brown. With views over Dartmoor and caves to explore it includes the rare maidenhair tree (Ginkgo Biloba) and is under a 10 minute drive away.
