Facilities at Leeming House

One of the hotel's main delights is the 22 acres of gardens and woodland stretching down to the lakeshore and giving direct access to Ullswater. There's also an Italian Garden was created in Victorian times, and an arboretum and rhododendron collection. There are various pathways to follow through the grounds, or you can enjoy the views from the terrace.

There are two elegant sitting rooms, a quiet library (all with real fires during the winter) plus a vast conservatory offering plenty of space for relaxing, reading or enjoying afternoon tea. 

Walkers and cyclists will find themselves well catered for with maps to borrow, packed lunches and secure bike storage.
