Luxury Georgian manor house in the heart of Hampshire
BookMember since 2023
Taking its name from the original glasshouse designed in the mid 19th century by Edward Milner, a renowned landscape architect who also designed Oakley Hall's gardens, the Glasshouse Restaurant is where you can enjoy an elegant and sophisticated, yet wonderfully laid back, fine dining experience. The seated terrace offers beautiful views of the hotel grounds and gardens and is perfect for soaking up the sun as you indulge.
The hotel follows a 'field to fork' philosophy and pride themselves on using local produce sourced from within a 50-mile radius. Some produce even comes from their own Kitchen Garden, where a fantastic variety of vegetables, herbs, and even fruit is grown.
The Sunday evening menu is the delicious Sunday Roast menu, a slight change from the Monday to Saturday Evening menu. If you don't fancy a roast, no problem, the menu also includes the British favourites such as Fish & Chips or the Oakley Burger.
1795 Bar & Lounge is a bright and beautifully modern space where you can enjoy everything from pre-dinner cocktails to a cup of coffee with something sweet on the side.
Behind the bar you'll find beers from the renowned Hogs Back Brewery in Surrey, as well as an impressive selection of local ales from Hampshire. And with its distillery just a stone's throw from the hotel at Laverstoke Mill, Bombay Sapphire is the gin of choice.
