House room
These are all first-floor rooms with either a southerly aspect over the High Street, or views of the delightful walled garden to the rear of the main house. They have all recently been refurbished to an excellent standard.

Garden room
Perfect for individuals or couples looking to enjoy a relaxing break in the Hampshire countryside, or for unwinding after a day on the river or in the field. Each room enjoys its own terrazzo for a morning latte or something a little stronger before dinner.

- All beds are luxurious Super-Kings, with the exception of Halford's Hut, which is a twin

The Mayfly room
Originally the honeymoon suite, complete with four poster bed, this is the perfect space for couples celebrating a very special occasion. It is located in the main hotel building and has opened recently following an extensive renovation.

The Bibury room
The room enjoys southerly views out across Stockbridge to the marshes beyond. Named after the infamous Bibury Club for racehorse owners, it was founded in the 17th century and based at the hotel for much of the 19th century.
Please note that The Bibury is situated on the top floor of the hotel, guests will need to ascend two flights of stairs to reach it.

St Peter's
A beautifully designed room with a southerly aspect from the bedroom and a westerly aspect from the bathroom. Named after the neighbouring St Peter's Church, visible from the bathroom, with its 13th-century font and Saxon crucifix carved by a local stonemason around 1100-1150AD.
Please note that St Peter's is situated on the top floor of the hotel, it is well worth the ascent of two flights of stairs to reach it.

The Hayloft
This master bedroom comprises a sumptuous king-size bed, central bath tub, dressing table and plenty of hanging space. Other amenities include a walk-in shower, a cook's corner with hidden sink, toaster and food prep surface, a chill-out TV area and dining table for up to 8.
House Twin room
Traditionally decorated rooms situated in the main hotel, all with exceptionally comfortable beds. These rooms have just been refurbished to exacting standards and are ready for guest bookings.
The Family room
A spacious room in the main house, appointed to an excellent standard, with plenty of space to accommodate a family of three (plus baby in a cot, on request).
Children are not included in the package price.
Upper Test room
Six superbly designed bijoux first floor rooms located in the Mews with south facing views over the peaceful walled garden.
The Cannon room
A beautifully light and sunny room with a bathroom to die for. Ideal for a couple looking to enjoy a relaxing stay in the finest boudoir in Stockbridge. Named after Tom Cannon, former owner of the hotel and famed jockey and trainer. Former champion jockey in 1872 and trainer of Grand National winner Playfair in 1888. The panelled walls of the hotel dining room showcase Cannon and a number of his famous charges. (See the History page to find out more about Stockbridge's racing past). Please note that The Cannon is situated on the top floor of the hotel, it is well worth the ascent of two flights of stairs to reach it!
