The hotel is set within 5 acres of gardens overlooking the Tamar Valley, and is close to Tavistock, Dartmoor, Plymouth and Cornwall. This is the ideal small country hotel for food lovers who enjoy excellent cuisine, or wish to celebrate a special occasion. 

In 2020 the drawing room was completely refurbished with quirky, colourful pieces and a slightly Moroccan theme.  The bar was rebuilt and extended as well as significantly extending the outdoor seating area, with a new pergola and stunning new outdoor furniture in which you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views.
