Set on the seafront, the hotel has 2 acres of gardens and is just a minute's walk from Cooden Beach train station and 2.1 miles from the De La Warr Pavilion.
Pevensey Castle, Sovereign Harbour and Hastings Pier are all within easy travelling distance from the hotel.
Being right on the sea front, you can of course enjoy a relaxing day on the beach, or take a walk along the stunning coastline from Cooden Beach to Bexhill Pier. Visit the Bexhill promenade, built by the De La Warr family, who originally built the hotel and neighbouring golf course.
Beachy Head offers a number of dedicated walks to suit all abilities, or explore the route that circles one of Britain's most important battles in history, The Battle of Hastings. There is a 4.5 mile circular walk taking in Battle Great Wood, Battle Abbey, the 1066 Battlefield, and Battle Museum.
