Opening Times

The onsite restaurant and bar is open on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays and occasionally serves Sunday lunches, this will be more regular in school holidays.

The restaurant is open from 5.30pm.

Monday is Pizza night, Thursday and Friday is Streetfood and Saturdays is Classic Dining.

During school holidays it opens for lunches and breakfast on some days.

Parking Facilities

Free parking is available onsite.  There are car parking spaces for one car per cottage (extra spaces available on request).  Not all cottages have parking outside; an unloading bay is available for these within close proximity.  Roads and paths to cottages are tarmacked.  Tarmacked level parking is available 10 metres from reception.  Disabled spaces are available at reception and the bar/restaurant/pool complex.

The retreat offers guests the use of electric charging points, located on the site. A 7kw Garo charger is available at £30 per charge or for those preferring a 3 pin plug charge, an exterior extension at £30 can be set up for you.  Bookings and availability are on a first come first served basis. Where location allows, cars can be charged direct from the cottage at £12 per night of the stay. This would need to be discussed with reception prior to arranging as it may not be possible from some cottages.

Disabled Access

Reception is accessed by a flat entry. The floor is carpeted on entry and then leads to a tiled floor.

The restaurant and bar is located at the bottom of a steep hill, it can be accessed by flat access and automatic door from the disabled parking space.  The disabled toilet has no steps.

A wheelchair is available to borrow, as well as other mobility assistance items from reception.

Every master bedroom has an ensuite. There is either a bath with shower overhead, or shower cubicle. The shower cubicles have a step up of approximately 5 inches.  Shower stools and suction handles are available to be added to the property at any time if required.

Two of the Croft cottages are suitable for people with mobility difficulties, as they have parking outside, level access and two bedrooms on the ground floor, one en suite with a small lipped stand up shower and family bathroom with shower over bath.

Child Policy

Children are welcome and can be accommodated in most of the cottages.  Children are included in the package/cottage rate shown.

The retreat has a games room and free summer holiday activities like animal encounters and arts & crafts. 

Cots can be provided on request, free of charge.

The grounds

The cottages are within the thirteen acres of gardens and woodland, residing in a peaceful gated holiday park providing a sense of security for you, your family and pets.

Dogs Policy

Awarded Bronze for 'Dog-Friendly Accommodation of the Year' in 2022 AND 2023 by Cornwall Tourism Awards.

The dog friendly holiday cottages are the perfect haven for you and your four-legged friend. For £25 per dog, per stay, your doggy will receive a box of welcome surprises, including their favourite treats, a cosy bed and towels, comfy blankets, a bowl and special dog tag, poop bags and a dog friendly local guide too!
