There is no lift at the hotel
The staircase to the first floor comprises of 14 steps with a small landing, then 2 further steps. There is a wooden banister on the left hand side on the way up the staircase.
6 bedrooms are located on the first floor, leading to a further 10 steps onto the second floor. This may be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.
All bedrooms are on one level, apart from one which has 2 steps into the room.
One ground floor bedroom is Visit Wales recognised as suitable for disabled guests
The grounds
The gardens surrounding Tyddyn Llan are a delight. The ornamental pond, croquet on the lawn, tea on the terrace. There are many areas of privacy with beautiful views of the mountains.
In the summer, a croquet set and plenty of deck chairs for when the sun shines are available. In the lounge, you will find a selection of games for the wet days as you occasionally get in Wales.
Other Information
Tyddyn Llan is well placed to explore the magnificence of Snowdonia and its many castles and monuments. The Roman City of Chester is only 35 miles away, as are the majestic Mawddach and Dyfi estuaries leading to fine sandy beaches and rocky coves.

Walking from the hotel, via ancient routes and old driving roads, experience the peace and quiet of this unspoilt landscape. A local and highly qualified guide is also available.

Golf – There are excellent 18 hole courses at Llangollen (15 miles), Chirk and Bala (8 miles).
Shooting – They are centrally placed for excellent pheasant shooting and can also arrange clay pigeon shooting.
Does Tyddyn Llan Country Hotel allow dogs?
Dogs are welcome in the majority of bedrooms and are charged at £15 per dog per night. They are allowed in the bedrooms but not the public rooms.
Room Eleven- (Comfort room) has interior access to the public rooms, but also there is a separate entrance at back of house. This can be useful for dog owners.
